Quest Human Capital is supporting a leading European asset management company in the recruitment of an Accounting Manager overseeing several of its international branches.
Our client is a well-established and recognized player in the asset management industry, with a strong footprint across Europe and a solid reputation for consistency and long-term performance.
The Role
This position sits within the central finance team in Luxembourg and focuses on the supervision and coordination of accounting, financial planning, and treasury activities across multiple European branches (Belgium, Spain, and Italy).
You will act as the key point of contact between local accounting firms and the group finance function, ensuring the reliability of financial information and alignment with group standards.
The role is structured, hands-on, and deadline-driven, particularly around month-end closings and reporting cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
- Review monthly financial statements of the branches
- Control payroll accounting and social charges
- Coordinate with external accounting providers
- Ensure proper integration into group reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor budget performance with monthly reporting
Treasury
- Process payments
- Monitor cash positions and liquidity
Tax & Compliance
- Follow up on local tax matters with advisors
- Maintain relationships with external partners
- Support transfer pricing documentation
Must-Have Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in audit or accounting
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Solid understanding of accounting and reporting processes
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in asset management or financial services
- Knowledge of multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with Cegid
- Additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian)
