About the Company

Our client is a well-established financial institution on the Luxembourg market, currently strengthening its Corporate Finance team to support the continued development of its Structured Finance activities.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Structured Finance Mid-Level professional to support the origination, structuring and execution of acquisition, leveraged and growth financing transactions in the Luxembourg market.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to complex debt transactions while progressively taking ownership of financing files from analysis through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of acquisition finance, leveraged finance and growth financing transactions.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including cash flow projections, leverage analysis, LBO models and sensitivity analyses.
  • Prepare credit papers and investment memoranda for internal approval committees.
  • Analyse financial, commercial and legal due diligence reports.
  • Participate in structuring debt facilities, including senior, junior and subordinated financing.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documentation (term sheets, facility agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements and related legal documents).
  • Support debt syndication processes through the preparation of lender materials and coordination with financial counterparties.
  • Perform industry and market research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring and risk analysis while ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Profile

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
  • Around 5+ years' experience in Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Structured Lending, Credit Analysis, Corporate Finance or Transaction Advisory.
  • Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
  • Experience with transaction documentation and debt structuring.
  • Exposure to Private Equity, Venture Capital or Growth Financing environments is considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg financial ecosystem is highly appreciated.
  • CFA, CAIA or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Languages

  • French is mandatory.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Luxembourgish and/or German would be considered an asset.
