Quest Human Capital is supporting a leading international professional services firm in Luxembourg in their search for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their HR Operations team.

The Role

You will join a well-established Payroll & Benefits team, playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution of payroll and employee benefits processes.

This position goes beyond pure execution: you will act as a reliable point of contact for both employees and internal stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and benefits processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in both standard and complex cases
  • Support and advise employees and HR colleagues on payroll-related matters
  • Act as a reference point within the team, with exposure to coordination responsibilities
  • Contribute to monthly and annual HR cycles (payroll runs, reporting, audits, system updates)
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support ongoing HR projects
  • Ensure a high level of service and responsiveness towards internal stakeholders

Must-Have Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR operations
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with SAP or similar HR systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
